They survived to year 4!

You hear it every time. "I can't believe they are _________ years old". But it really is true.  When you think about how far they have come and how much they have grown, you have to stand amazed.

Paul and I knew that Matthew and Seth love all things space, so we thought we would take a trip before their birthday to Houston to see NASA.  We figured we could play at the beach that same trip to fill up some time. Who knew the beach would make a bigger impact then the rockets.

The water was a little cold for Seth.

Matthew could have stayed there all day.

Mission Control

What a bunch of nerds!

I think Paul and I were more impressed with the Saturn 5 Rocket than the boys.
Matthew Driving Rovers

Seth the Astronaut
Checking out Curiosity

Coolest Rover ever!
For their actual birthday we bought them a trampoline.  It had rained the night before so the tramp was cold and wet.  There were lots of tears early that morning full of disappointment.  After the day warmed up however, there was nothing but smiles! Whew!

The boys are smart, still super cute men, who make us laugh every day. We are so blessed to have them in our lives. Love you Matthew and Seth!

  1. Gee, we know someone who lives near a beach and the Naval Aviation Museum. Hint, hint. Glad the boys and Paul and Erin "survived" 4 years. No blue bonnet pics this year? LOL!
    Love n hugs from Alabama.
